THE GHOST WALKS - 1934 - RICHARD CARLE - RARE DVD

$ 6.00

Usually when I watch a movie that I have never seen before, as I enjoy the story plot I am thinking about how to tease you into watching the movie. Sometimes for a horror movie I can lead you down the path just far enough to show you the unknown horror that might be ahead. Of course, few movies are unique, and once we get to a certain point in the story we can usually predict how the story will end.

Well, friends, I just finished watching The Ghost Walks, and a few minutes before the ending I was thinking that I would present a horror mystery to you, and inform you that you will not know exactly what is going on until the final scene . . . But something unusual has happened.

I watched the show from beginning to end, and after the final scene, as the screen dissolves into blackness, I am still not sure what exactly happened. My confusion is not because I did not understand the plot and sub-plots, and it is not because the story was written or presented badly. My confusion is the delicious result of watching the plot and sub-plots with delight, trying in vain to predict the next step, and as the story ends, I am still not exactly sure of what is real and what is not. Pop a big bowl of white kernel popcorn with plenty of warm melted butter drizzled over it and enjoy the show.
