Before he became known as the founder of a company that sells frozen sausage, Jimmy Dean made his name as a country singer, actor and host of TV shows, including this eponymous variety show that originally aired from 1963 to 1966. The hourlong episodes have been restored with improved audio and video to better showcase the guests joining Dean on the series in its New York studio. Some of the era's most popular musical acts are featured, including Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, the Four Seasons, and Hank Williams Jr.
