Henry Williams, a nervous wreck who suffers greatly under his many ailments and is only comforted by his varied assortment of pills, has come to take in the open air of Arizona for his health, but he’s certain he will be dead soon regardless. Despite his plans for departing he can't help but notice Sally, the charming daughter of rancher Jud Morgan, and decides to stay on as a border at the ranch "for a little while." Things are complicated by Sally's fiancé, Sheriff Bob Wells, a jealous two gun dude who doesn't like her fussing over the visitor, and it only gets worse when Sally uses Henry as cover to avoid marrying the Sheriff!
