While cruising the South Seas Yachtsman Steve Drexel bets his friends he could live comfortably on a remote island with nothing but a toothbrush. So Steve swims to the island, and while awaiting his friends return, improbably builds a comfortable home. Soon a grass-skirted young native from a nearby island shows up fleeing a disagreeable wedding, Steve nicknames her Saturday but then has to deal with her unhappy tribesmen.
