TV version of the 1954 Herman Wouk Broadway play with the original cast except for Henry Fonda and John Hodiak who were replaced by Barry Sullivan and Frank Lovejoy. This program won Emmy Awards for Lloyd Nolan (Best Actor In A Single Performance), Franklin J. Schaffner (Best Director-Live Series) and Schaffner and Paul Gregory (Best Television Adaptation). Barry Sullivan was also nominated for Best Actor and the program for Best Single Program Of The Year.
