This marvelous PBS show is of a live stage reading of the original radio production of ñIt's A Wonderful Life." It is perfect for Christmas. There are no glitzy sets, costumes, or props--just the stage, which is set to look like an old-time radio studio, some mics, the sound effects guys and their assortment of toys, the orchestra, and a stage full of the brightest stars in Hollywood. What a night! The taping was filmed at the Pasadena Playhouse.
