“Sophia Loren in Rome,” a one‐hour show in which the actress conducts a tour of the Italian capital will be televised by the American Broadcasting Company next season, probably in November.

Filming of the show will begin in May. Norman Baer, coproducer, said it would be directed by Sheldon Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds and Basilio Franchina, one of the authors of the motion picture “The Fall of the Roman Empire,” will write the script.
